Our newest shirts, that will benefit the Blue Star Mothers of Louisiana will be available for purchase beginning Veteran’s Day in our store. Cost of the shirts are $20 for adult and $15 for chidren’s sizes. $5 from the sale of each shirt will go towards the Blue Star Mothers of Louisiana as they continue to support our Louisiana troops!
When My Fleur de Tee began working with Yatmedia for our social media development, we had no idea how far it would take us. Not only do we have a wonderful social media presence on FB and Twitter, but we are growing by leaps and bounds do to new outreach. We told Yatmedia we wanted to design a military themed shirt and partner with a military support group. Right away, Greta suggested Blue Star Mothers of Louisiana. We have been working behind the scenes for months now to create the ideal shirt, get it in the hands of 30 deployed Louisiana troops and to reveal it on Veteran’s Day. We were fortunate along the way to have a traditional PR expert volunteer some time to help increase the profile of our small business but also the Blue Star Mothers. We can’t show the shirt until tomorrow but we hope you will support us in the sales of it.
Veteran’s Day Schedule of events:
***5:30 -6:30 AM on WAFB in Baton Rouge will be filming the Blue Star Mothers at the USS KIDD, wearing our shirts and talking about their valuable mission.
***8:20 AM on Fox 8 NOLA two Blue Star Mothers will be wearing our shirts on air and talking about their mission.
*** 11:00 will be the Veteran’s Day program put on by the Blue Star Mothers and the USS KIDD at the Old Louisiana State Capital. Following the event, we will have a very brief press conference to present our shirt to the BSMs.
We would like to take this time to thank all the men and women who have served in the military. We enjoy our freedoms because of you!
